Arthur R. Legnaioli, 74, Woodstock, died Thursday, July 28, 2016, at JourneyCare Inpatient Hospice Unit -Woodstock.
He was born Sept. 14, 1941, to Oscar and Winnifred (Olsen) Legnaioli.
On May 23, 1964, he married Judy Stanek, in Wooddale.
For 33 years he worked as a mail carrier in Des Plaines. After retiring from the post office, he worked at Pinecrest Golf Course. He enjoyed trap shooting and hunting and was a member of the Woodstock Gun Club. He was a golfer. He loved attending sporting events that his family was involved in. He was loved and will be missed.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brian (Sherry) Legnaioli and Brad Legnaioli; a daughter, Brenda (Patrick) Grisolia; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan) Crook, Brian Jr., Brooke and Nick Legnaioli and Ryan, Cameron, Dylan and Clayton Grisiolia; a great-grandchild, Summer Crook.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Visitation and funeral were Aug. 1 at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. Deacon Bill Johnston presided. Burial was private.
