Anne M. Abraham, 96 of Harvard, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at White Oaks Memory Care in McHenry.
She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 7, 1929 to Robert Blackwell and Margaret (Richie) Malone.
Anne loved camping and fishing, and she enjoyed many trips with the Stahlecker’s and the Buschkopf’s. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and knitting. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as the Huguenots. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Philip (Janice) Abraham of Harvard; her son in law Fred Stillman of Rockford; five grandchildren, Patricia (Eric) Elswick, Heidi (Mark) Vanderstappen, Keith (Emily) Abraham, Jessica (Dan) Babbitt and Nicholas Stillman; and 13 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Ethan, Devin, Jocelynn, Corrine, Parker, Emery, Colton, Nolan, Teagan, Jenna, Chelsea and Violet.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald K. Abraham; her daughter, Linda Stillman; her great-grandson, Sonny; and her sister, Jane Fehrman.
A celebration of Anne’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2026, at Oakland Cemetery in Woodstock. The family will gather at 11:15 AM and have prayers at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
