Anna V. Stahlecker, 87, Woodstock, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Crossroads Care Center, Woodstock.
She was born July 30, 1930, to Fred and Elizabeth (Soenksen) Jansen in Elwood, Iowa.
On March 12, 1955, she married Richard Stahlecker.
She enjoyed sewing, working as a seamstress for many years. She also worked in factories including Plaspros. She loved her times with her friends, playing cards and being the chauffeur for anyone who needed a ride. Mostly she enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was loved and will be missed.
Survivors include a son, Jim (Cathy) Stahlecker; and many nieces and nephews and cousins. A special word of thanks to all the Senior Service Helpers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1974; a brother, Sylvan (Rosalie) Jansen; four sisters, Esther (Tom) Metras, Irene (Alvin) Maynard, Macy (Bob) Stone and Betty (Harold) Flemming; and many brothers- and sisters-in-law.
