Alec John Kaiser

Alec John Kaiser, 16, Woodstock, died Sunday, July 1, 2012.

He was born May 29, 1996, to Jerald Kaiser and Tiffany and William Sevcik.

He touched many people in his life with his bright smile, charm and all around good nature. He loved being on his family’s dairy farm and working with the animals. He especially loved tinkering with the machinery with his uncle Jeff.

He also enjoyed showing his sister and brother the baby animals on the farm, giving them rides on his four- wheeler, spending time with them at home, wrestling and playing games on the Wii. He was their hero.

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish with his stepfather and good friends Gavin and Michael.

He also loved to hunt and ride his four-wheeler and snowmobile around the farm with his dad and his best friend, Brad.

He always will be remembered by his family and friends as a fun-loving person, someone others could count on when needed. He had a big heart and was ready to give big hugs to everyone.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Katie Sevick; a brother, William Sevick; an uncle, Jeff; a grandfather, James A. Kaiser; grandparents John and Dar Kruse, and Don and Kate Bennett; his cousins, Marissa, Nikk and Tomy; god-parents, Jack and Phyllis Fischer;  an uncle and aunt, Tim and Sandra; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and great-grandparents.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Judith K. Kaiser.

The visitation and memorial service were July 7 at the Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.

Memorials can be made to the 4-H Livestock Barn Memorial Project, C/O McHenry County Fair Foundation, P.O. Box 375, Woodstock, IL 60098.
