Dorothy Larsen, 86

Dorothy Larsen, 86, of Harvard, IL, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026 at Mercy
Harvard Hospital.

She was born March 18, 1940 in Woodstock to Harry and Ella (Gerhke) Woellert. She
married Raymond Larsen on June 6, 1959 in Woodstock.

Dorothy and Raymond together shared their love of farming and raising their children on
their farm in Harvard. She managed Scandinavian Cemetery in Woodstock for many years.
She enjoyed gardening and was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.
She was known for being a wonderful baker. But, most of all, she was a loving wife, mother,
and grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Roger (Kelli Narofsky) Larsen and Randy (Felicia) Larsen;
grandchildren, Katelynne (Dillon) Smith and Cayden Narofsky; and many nieces and
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her three brothers, Vern
Woellert, Richard Woellert, and William Woellert.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 401 St.
John’s Road, Woodstock from 9:00am until the Funeral Service at 11:00am. Interment will
be at Scandinavian Cemetery in Woodstock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
