Jean M. Habbley 87 formerly of Woodstock passed away Tuesday February 4, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Wonder Lake.
She was born November 19, 1936 in Joliet, IL to William and Bernice (Axelson) Stanger. She married Clinton Habbley on June 30, 1965.
She was a member at Grace Lutheran Church for many years until health kept her away. She worked at the Singer Factory Company, Guardian Electric and DB Hess. She loved to travel and was a member of the Woodstock Wood Chucks. She loved all animals especially her cat Missy and her beloved dog Dutchess.
She is survived by a son Scott (Christine) Habbley, and Craig (Mary) Habbley; a daughter Susan (John) Grewe; a brother Dick (Judy) Stanger; Ten grandchildren and Six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A private funeral will be held and the burial will be at McHenry County Memorial Park.
