Jerry William Haning, 80

Jerry William Haning, 80, of Meyersdale, Pa., passed away Sept. 26, 2023, at his home. He was born May 20, 1943, in Meyersdale, the son of Samuel and Ruth (Horchler) Haning.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robbie Haning.

Survived by his wife, Shirl (Hutson) Haning; children, Sheila Hetz (Gary Lee) and Jerry (Amy) Haning; three sisters, Susan Nellesson, Mary Kay (Don) Davis, and Jane (Dave) Mohapp; two brothers, Sammy (Sue) Haning and Freeman Haning; three grandchildren, Kala (Landon) Loya, Amanda (Anthony) Lewis, and Jeremy Hetz; four great-grandchildren, Lia, Tyler, Zacary, and Jaxon. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Patricia Redman, and brother-in-law, Bill (Donna) Hutson.

He was a 1961 graduate of Woodstock Community High School and was a lifetime farmer who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
