Josefina Garza, 88, of Woodstock, passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 11, 1930, in San Antonio, Texas. She was loved by many, and will be missed.
She is survived by her children, Mario Garza of Portland, Ore., Art (Sarah) Garza of Woodstock, Dolores Garza of Muskegon, Mich., Joe (Jill) Garza of Wonder Lake, Mary Ann Garza of Belvidere, Angie (Paul Nevers) Garza of Newport, Ore., Richard Garza of San Antonio, Texas.; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy U. Garza; a daughter, Anna M. Garza; and two grandsons, Steven M. Garza, and John M. Garza.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sept. 8, 2018, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the old Deeters Banquet Hall, 15105 U.S. Highway 14, Woodstock Ill. All other services will be private.
