Steve Hinner

Steve “St. Stephen” Hinner, 57, of Woodstock, died Aug. 6, 2017, after a courageous battle against melanoma.

He was born and raised in Woodstock, and was happily employed by Antioch Fine Wine and Liquors for many years as the wine manager. Steve was known for his giving and kind nature, as well as a love of music, wine and his Chicago sports teams (Cubs excluded).

Survivors include: his only son, Benjamin (Erin) Hinner; the loves of his life, his two grandchildren, Mason and Penny, Melbourne, Florida; a brother, Reiner (Lori) Hinner;  niece and nephew/godson Gabriela and Garret Hinner, St. Peters, Missouri; loving Tanta Anni and Uncle Willy; cousins Peter and Wally Bitschura; numerous other family members; and countless friends and loved ones.
