Nancy J. Lagerhausen

Nancy J. Lagerhausen, 80, Hebron, formerly of Woodstock, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017.

She was born Sept. 24, 1936, to Wilbur and Thelma (Ehle) Peters in Lake Geneva, Wis.

On March 24, 1956, she married Walter H. “Wally” Lagerhausen in Woodstock.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Woodstock.  She loved to crochet and to collect. Her collection of porcelain dolls, Amish figures, cows and Christmas decorations cannot be compared.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she supported her family in every way possible.

Survivors include: her children, Tom (Connie) Lagerhausen, Chandler, Ariz., Larry C. (Laura) Lagerhausen, Terry (Karen) Lagerhausen, all of Woodstock, Jerry (Gwen) Lagerhausen, Hebron, and LuAnn (Ken) Knoll, Hebron; 15 grandchildren, Evann, Seth (Jana), Paige, Ellerie, Adam (Molly), Joey (Brit), Marissah, Cheyennah, Breannah, Ashli (Blake) Self, Auggie, Hayli, Sparkle, Zoee and Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Landon, Mason, Weston, Hudson, Grayson, Jackson, Deacon and one in the near future; a brother, Kenneth Peters; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Feb. 6, 1998; three sisters, Leota “Peggy” Garrison, Delores Gosda and Phyllis Hysen; and two brothers, Robert and Billy Peters.

Visitation was Aug. 18 and the funeral  was Aug. 19 at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.  Interment was in the Linn-Hebron Cemetery, Hebron.

Memorials can be made to the family for designation at a later date.
