Bernard S. “Dino” Gius

Bernard S. “Dino” Gius, 80, Woodstock, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke Medical Center, Chicago.

He was born Feb. 2, 1932, in Chicago, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gius.

He was president and owner of Titan Steel and Tube Corporation, Woodstock.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include his partner of more than 20 years, Carol Snelson; two sons, Dr. David (Dr. Leah Harris) Gius, Chicago, and Richard (Debbie) Gius, Dallas; four grandchildren, Matthew, Nichole, Daniel and Isabelle; and a brother, Sam Gius.

Visitation was Aug. 26 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.

Funeral and interment were held privately.
