Keith C. Buol

Keith C. Buol, 54, McHenry, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Barrington, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 6, 1958, in Woodstock, to Kenneth and Rose (Quall) Buol.

On July 7, 1979, he married Tammy Schafer in Elkhorn, Wis.

He was employed by Sloan Valve of Franklin Park for more than 35 years as a machinist.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jason Buol, Hampshire, Jeremy Buol, McHenry, and Corey (Jodi) Buol, Wonder Lake; two grandsons, Damien and Logan; his mother, Union Grove, Wis.; his mother-in-law, Darlene Schafer, Elkhorn; and two brothers-in-law, David (Sandy) Schafer, Fort Atkinson, Wis., and Kerry (Peggy) Schafer, Elkhorn.

He was preceded in death by his father and his father-in-law, Laverne Schafer.

Memorial service and visitation were Aug. 28 at Colonial Funeral Home,  McHenry.

Memorials can be directed to his family, and a tree will be planted in his memory at a later date.
