James Kosirog

James “Jim” Kosirog Jr., 58, Wonder Lake, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at his home.

He was born Aug. 11, 1954, in Chicago to James Sr. and the late Pauline (Chowaniec) Kosirog. 

On Feb. 16, 1980, he married Kimberly “Kim” O’Brochta in Chicago.

He was a proud Navy veteran and dedicated Warrior Watch Rider. He was employed by CBOE for almost 30 years.

Survivors include his wife; father; a daughter, Jillian (William) Sublette; a son, Michael (Amanda) Kosirog; three grandchildren, Dustin Sublette, James Jonathon “JJ” and Lukas Kosirog; a brother, David (Barbara) Kosirog; a sister,  Cindy (Ron) Malcolm; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and the funeral were Dec. 5 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, Crystal Lake. Inurnment will be private. Memorials can be made to the Wounded Hero’s Foundation, 161 N. Clark St., Suite 4200, Chicago, IL 60601.
