Thomas Francis McGovern, 58, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at John H. Stroger Hospital, Chicago.
He was born April 19, 1954, in Chicago to Robert F. and Rosemary (Kane) McGovern.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert Francis McGovern and Michael Kane (Patricia) McGovern; a sister, Jule McGovern Foster; many nieces and nephews; a grand-niece, Sera Finn Rose; and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Timothy “ Jimmy” Francis McGovern; and a nephew, Patrick Timothy Foster.
A memorial gathering of friends and relatives was Jan. 19 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. Funeral and interment services were private.
