Freda Carolyn Heaven, 85, Woodstock, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013.
She was born April 6, 1928, in Deer Park, Washington.
She worked in insurance and real estate sales until she retired at the age of 45. She then pursued her passion, which was art, and focused on oil painting, scrimshaw and pine -needle basket weaving.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce and Dale Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 and a daughter in 2006.
