Quinn G. Gieseke

Quinn G. Gieseke, 31, Woodstock, died March 30, 2014. 

He was born Sept. 24, 1982, to Jerry and Christine (Freise) Gieseke in Belvidere.

He had a lawn care business during high school. Following his graduation in 2001 from Marengo Community High School, he worked for Bell Land Improvement. His true loves were being at Deerpass Farms and driving his truck on many trips around the country. 

Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Brett (Sarah) Gieseke, Ryan (Rhonda) Gieseke and Jeremy (Kasey) Gieseke; a sister, Autumn (Marc) Bechler; 10 nieces and nephews, Ethan, Hayden, Avery, Addison, Ella, Madelyn, Michael, Gabby, Colton and Gracie; and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Hilda Freise; and his paternal grandparents, LeRoy and Alice Gieseke. 

The visitation and funeral were held April 3 and 4 at Zion Lutheran Church, Marengo. Interment was in McHenry County Memorial Park. 

Memorials in his name can be made to Marengo Community High School FFA, 110 Frank Road, Marengo, IL 60152. Arrangements were made by Fredrick Funeral Home, Hampshire.
