Judith Ann Andes

Judith Ann Andes, 75, Woodstock, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at JourneyCare Hospice Center, Woodstock, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Feb. 22, 1940, to Royal and Harriet (Petersen) Larson in Elmhurst.  

On Feb. 14, 1959, she married Billy Lee Andes in Woodstock.

She was an amazing seamstress and loved sewing as well as arts and crafts.  She also enjoyed gardening and going to garage sales.  She was an avid Chicago Bears fan, and she never would bet against them.  She enjoyed drum and bugle corps music.  Most of all, she was an amazing mom who always put her family first.

Survivors include two sons, Scott (Amy) Andes and Dave “Bubba” Andes; a brother-in-law, Duane (Linda) Andes; a sister-in-law, Alice Sanchez; nieces and nephews, Doug Hooker, Cindy Bockman, Lisa (Rob) Skiera, Evelyn (Mark) Brockway, Barb (Gene) Mosher, Shelly (Joe) Berta, Greg Andes and Rick (Kim) Andes; and many great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband April 13, 2011; two sisters, Arlene Kaiser and Joan (Robert) Hooker; and a niece, Anita Hooker.

Visitation and funeral were held Oct. 16 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home.  

Burial was at McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodstock.
