Inspired by the movies of the 1950s, especially those of Alfred Hitchcock, Marty McGinley wrote, produced, and directed a short film, “The Wanting,” which will premiere at the Woodstock Opera House on June 30. McGinley wanted to create a movie that draws the audience into the onscreen suspense, prompting the viewer to ask, “What would I do in this situation?”
