Diane and Steve Gavers accept the Legacy of Service Award given by the Sycamore District of Blackhawk Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. The award also recognized the success of the Gavers Community Cancer Foundation and its annual Barndance that has raised more than $8 million in 20 years with a mission of raising cancer awareness, improving cancer care, and raising funds for cancer research.
