A Wonder Lake man was rushed to the hospital with a stab wound late Saturday night.
At 11:07 p.m. Nov. 25, crews from the Wonder Lake Fire Protection District were dispatched to the 2800 block of Walnut Drive. Personnel from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene and are conducting an investigation.
WLFPD Deputy Chief Mike Weber said emergency crews arrived on Walnut Drive to find an adult male who had been stabbed at another location. He was immediately transported to Centegra Hospital-McHenry with injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
Calls to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office were not returned by press time.
