Police charged a man with possession and delivery of cannabis after raiding his Woodstock home Oct. 20.
Douglas R. Glenn, 29, faces multiple charges after members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Police Narcotics Task Force searched his home in the 1900 block of Tappan Street. According to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, police recovered about $5,000 worth of drugs in his home, including 183 grams of cannabis and 24 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.
Police also took scales, drug pipes, packaging material and $460 in cash from Glenn’s home during the search.
Members of the task force conducted surveillance of the residence after receiving “multiple complaints of drug activity over the last month,” according to the MCSO. In addition to the narcotics task force, the MCSO SWAT team and the Woodstock Police Department were on hand when the warrant was served.
Glenn was charged with unlawful delivery of cannabis, a class 3 felony; two counts of class 4 unlawful delivery of cannabis; unlawful possession of cannabis, a class 4 felony; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; and two counts of unlawful possession of cannabis, class B misdemeanors.
