A Wonder Lake man and two juveniles were arrested for allegedly burglarizing vehicles in unincorporated McHenry.

Teghan Appleberg, 18, Wonder Lake, a 17-year-old juvenile and a 13-year-old juvenile each face burglary charges stemming from an early-morning incident near McHenry’s West Riverside Drive Oct. 19. According to a press release from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched there in response to a report of people burglarizing vehicles.

When they arrived, police said they found Appleberg and two juveniles, who were taken into custody.

Police said the juveniles entered a garage and committed theft. Appleberg was charged with burglary for taking items from a vehicle. He was transported to the McHenry County Corrections Facility.

The two juveniles were charged with burglary and residential burglary and were transported to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center.

The MCSO Criminal Investigations Division is investigating their connection to other vehicle burglaries in the area.
