A Woodstock restaurant best known for pizza has added an outdoor dining option.
Cheryl Rosati, Woodstock, owns Rosati’s, a family-owned establishment which started as a takeout and delivery location. Together with her sons Michael and Anthony, the family expanded Rosati’s into a full-service bar and restaurant in 2013.
Michael Rosati is a fan of outdoor dining himself and wanted his customers to have the chance to enjoy good food outside on nice days.
“When I go out and it’s a nice day, I like to go somewhere I can eat or have a drink outside,” Michael Rosati said. “We had the sidewalk space and decided to finally utilize it. We wanted to give our customers another option.”
So far, the outdoor seating, located in front of the restaurant, has been welcomed by patrons, Michael Rosati said.
“We offer great happy-hour specials Sunday through Thursday, and customers who were seeking an outdoor option now can come to Rosati’s and enjoy the new patio.”
“Things have been going really well. We’re really happy with the expansion,” Rosati added.
Though pizza is the most ordered item on the menu, Rosati’s also offers a number of pastas and entrees derived from family recipes. While takeout and delivery orders still surpass in-house dining, Michael Rosati believes customers who choose to dine in are always impressed.
“Customers accustomed to our food, whether it be picked up or delivered, are even more impressed getting served right to the table in a full-service dining experience,” he said.
The 3,600-square-foot restaurant seats 74 inside. The new outdoor patio seating accommodates 20 for full-service drinks and food. An additional eight seats are located in the carryout section for customers taking a quick lunch break, often grabbing a slice of pizza.
