A single-vehicle rollover crash involving a utility pole held traffic up on Route 47 just south of Lucas Road Feb. 21.
Crews from Woodstock Fire/Rescue District, McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and Lakewood Police Department responded to the scene at 6:06 p.m.
One vehicle left the roadway and hit a utility pole before coming to rest on its roof.
According to WFRD Captain Scott Nieman, the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and extricated herself. No transport for medical care was needed.
Route 47 was down to one lane while the vehicle was removed and the power line was repaired. It is unknown why the vehicle left the roadway.
