David P. Janes

David P. Janes, 48, Wonder Lake, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Centegra Hospital-McHenry.

He was born June 11, 1961, in Woodstock, to Philip and Roberta (Sell) Janes. He married Crista Terrell June 17, 1989, in Richmond.

He was employed as a technician at Arrow Septic and Sewer, Woodstock, for the past nine years.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day and Illinois Carry and former member of Harley-Davidson Owners Group.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Caleb Janes, Wonder Lake; his mother, Roberta Janes, Woodstock; two sisters, Kathy Janes and Ginger Shaffer, both of Woodstock; a brother, Randy (Sue) Janes, Sharon, Wis.; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The visitation and funeral were Feb. 15 at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home, Richmond, with the Rev. David Brady officiating. A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
