Robert G. HallisyRobert G. Hallisy, 97, Hartland Township, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Centegra Hospital -- Woodstock. He was born May 25, 1912, in Hartland Township, to James and Margaret (Costello) Hallisy. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hartland. He was a lifelong resident of Hartland Township, and he was a grain and dairy farmer there for many years. Survivors include two nieces, Jane Anderson and Kathleen Hallisy; three nephews, James Hallisy, Tom Hallisy and Will Junghen; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Francis Hallisy; and two sisters, Dorothy Junghen and Helen Michaelis. Visitation was Oct. 30 at Schneider,-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. The funeral was Oct. 31 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hartland Township. Memorials can be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
