Ads in The Woodstock Independent must be ordered by noon Thursday for the following week's paper. Advertising cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to that deadline, or you will be charged the full price of the ad. Newspaper columns are approximately 2.5 inches wide and run 4 columns per page. Several common ad sizes are listed below.
- Eighth-page: 2 columns x 4 inches
- Quarter-page: 2 columns x 7.5 inches
- Half-page: 4 columns x 7.5 inches
- Full-page: 4 columns x 15 inches
Fliers/Inserts
Fliers or inserts may be inserted in papers distributed in McHenry County and newsstands. These cannot exceed 8.5 inches wide or must be folded or trimmed to fit. The Woodstock Independent is able to design and print fliers if needed. For complete pricing, please contact the Advertising Department at 815-338-8040.
Classifieds
Classified ads run as boxed display ads and cost $9.00 per inch. To ensure your ad is published in The Woodstock Independent Classifieds on time, please please contact the Advertising Department at 815-338-8040 for a quote by noon Friday for the following week's paper.
