Tasha N. Pina

Tasha N. Pina, 30, Woodstock, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, at Centegra Hospital-Woodstock.
She was born April 16, 1984, to Dave and Robin (Wright) Tratnik in Houston.  
In December 2009 she married Walter R. “Rich” Pina in Woodstock.
She graduated from Dundee Crown High School.  She worked for UPS and then at Flocon Inc. in Cary where she served as a quality-control inspector.  She always wanted to travel to Japan because she loved Asian culture.  She was a huge Bruce Lee fan and enjoyed watching Kung Fu movies.  She also enjoyed horror movies. 
She loved writing and was great at training dogs, especially her dog, Charlie.  Most of all she was a loving wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Bella Pina; her father; her mother; her grandmother, Phyllis Tratnik; a brother-in-law, Jason Pina; four sisters-in-law, Betty Pina, Shirley (Edward Jr.) Bazzar, Laura Pina and Lisa Pina; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Steve Tratnik; and her stepfather, Ron Hehn.
A memorial gathering and service was held Oct. 17, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
Memorials can be made to her family for designation at a later date.
