At Hearthstone Early Learning Center, our teachers are enthusiastic about helping your child get the best possible start in learning. Our classrooms are set up to promote interaction in large and small groups within structured and unstructured settings. They provide areas for fun activities, learning, games, dramatic play, science, art, and reading. The Creative Curriculum allows for individualization of activities to meet each child’s needs and adheres to the guidelines to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Visit our website or call us for more information about our programs.
Children are grouped into classrooms according to age and developmental needs.
Each classroom has access to age-appropriate outdoor play areas.
In order to meet the nutritional needs for the children, Hearthstone Early Learning Center provides a nutritious lunch in addition to morning and afternoon snacks.
One of the benefits of serving seniors and children on one campus is that our ELC children visit with the "Grandmas and Grandpas" of Hearthstone regularly. Intergenerational activities include show and tell, arts and crafts, singing, exercising, cooking, and reading with the seniors.
ELC has transportation to and from most area schools.
Chaperoned field trips are scheduled to plays, movies, beaches, parks and other fun and educational locations for children age 3 and older.
