Linda Sue Natschke, 58, Wonder Lake

Linda Sue Natschke, 58, Wonder Lake, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at Centegra Hospital-McHenry.

She was born May 26, 1957, in Chicago.

A longtime resident of Woodstock and Wonder Lake, she grew up in the city, where she forged a lifelong commitment to nurturing others.

She was a homemaker who grew to be a mother to far more than her own four children. Her zest for living life to its fullest regardless of challenges was reaffirming to all who knew her. She possessed an innate sense of others’ struggles and an uncanny ability to soothe them.

She adored being a grandmother and celebrated the triumphs of members of her biological and adopted families. Her cherished presence will be sorely missed.

Survivors include two sons, Karl (Savannah Thomas) and Michael (Marci Lewandowski) Natschke; two daughters, Antoinette (Chance Naber) and Kristyne Natschke; and two granddaughters, Ava Naber and Zoey Natschke.

Visitation was March 3 and the funeral was March 4 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Woodstock.

Memorials can be made to Centegra Sage Cancer Center, 4305 W. Medical Center Drive, McHenry, IL 60050.
