James Edward Ule, 75, Woodstock

James Edward Ule, 75, Woodstock, died Friday, Dec. 25, 2015, at Mercy Hospital, Walworth.

He was born Oct. 11, 1940, to Frank and Mildred (Schiller) Ule in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. 

On July 27, 1963, he married Phyllis Conley in Belvidere.

He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting in Auburndale, Wis.  He was a Corvette enthusiast and loved going to car shows and driving his ‘61 Corvette.  He was a member of the Woodstock Moose Lodge, a Green Bay Packer fan and a Wisconsin Badger fan. But mostly he was a family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was loved and will be missed.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Traci (Anthony) Belmonte; five grandchildren, Courtnie (Adam) Gabala, Zachary (Kayla) Shannon, Alex Shannon, Christine (Matt) Drzewiezki and Anthony (Jessica) Belmonte; two great-grandchildren, Francesca Belmonte and Anthony Belmonte and a third great-grandchild on the way; three brothers, Norman (LaVerne) Ule, Frank (Mary Ellen) Ule and Lyle (Mary) Ule; and three sisters, Shelby Conley, Sharon (Jim) McCarty and Sheila (Richard) Zimmerman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerry Ule.

A memorial gathering will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, followed by a memorial service at 1p.m., at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1320 Dean St., Woodstock. Burial will be private
