The boy’s track and field sectionals took place May 20 at Rust-Oleum field, Vernon Hills High School, despite rain, cold temperatures and high winds. The conditions resulted in very few personal best times and distances but the three Woodstock-area schools still managed to qualify several athletes to advance to state.
